Praying Psalm 8

Heavenly Father,

As I look at the heavens and Your creation, I am filled with awe and wonder at Your majesty and glory. Who am I, O Lord, that You would consider me, that You would care for me in such a way?

You have set Your glory above the heavens, yet You have crowned me with honor and dignity. You have entrusted me with dominion over Your creation, placing all things under my feet.

I praise You for the beauty of Your works, for the sun and the moon, the stars in the sky, and all the creatures of the earth. Your creation is magnificent, a testament to Your power and creativity.

Even in my weakness, You have shown Your strength. You have made me a little lower than the angels, yet You have crowned me with glory and honor. You have blessed me with the privilege of knowing You and experiencing Your love and grace.

Lord, help me to steward the gifts and responsibilities You have entrusted to me with power, humility and gratitude. May I always remember Your goodness and faithfulness, and may my life bring honor and glory to Your name.

In honor and adoration, I lift my voice in praise to You, O Lord, my Creator, my Redeemer, and my Sustainer.
