Praying Psalm 13

Heavenly Father,

How long O Lord, will I feel forgotten and abandoned? How long will I wrestle with sorrow and anguish in my soul? Please do not hide Your face from me; do not turn away from my cries for help. In the midst of my struggles, I cling to Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

You are my rock and my salvation, and I trust in Your steadfastness even when I cannot see Your hand at work. Lord, shine Your light into the darkness of my despair. Lift the weight of sorrow from my heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Help me to trust in Your timing, even when it feels like You are silent. Give me the strength to wait patiently for Your deliverance and to hold fast to Your promises. I choose to rejoice in Your salvation, knowing that You have been good to me in the past and that Your goodness will continue to follow me all the days of my life.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer and for being ever-present in my time of need. I surrender my worries and fears into Your loving hands, confident that You will never leave me nor forsake me.
