Praying Psalm 12

Heavenly Father,

As I come before You I am aware of the challenges and trials that surround me. The world seems filled with deceit and dishonesty, and I feel overwhelmed by the increase of ungodliness.

Yet, in the midst of this darkness, I cling to You as my refuge and strength. You are the source of truth and righteousness, and I trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

Lord, I lift up to You the concerns of my heart. Help me to navigate through the deceit and falsehood that I encounter, and guide me in walking with integrity and honesty in all that I do.

Protect me, Lord, from the influence of those who seek to deceive and manipulate. Surround me with Your presence, and fill me with Your wisdom and discernment, so that I may recognize truth from falsehood.

Lord, I long for Your word to be upheld as a standard of righteousness in my life and in the world around me. Strengthen me to stand firm in Your truth, even when it may be unpopular or difficult.

May Your light shine brightly through me, illuminating the darkness and bringing hope to those who are lost and deceived. Use me as Your instrument of truth and love in this world.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that Your word will endure forever. I place my trust in You, knowing that You are my refuge and my shield.
