Praying Psalm 4

Heavenly Father, I come before You, acknowledging Your righteousness and Your mercy in times of distress. You have heard my cries and enlarged my heart with Your grace. Have mercy on me once more, O God, and hear my prayer.

In a world consumed by vanity and falsehoods, where glory is turned to shame and hearts chase after empty pursuits, I pray for clarity and discernment. Help us, O Lord, to recognize that You have set apart the godly for Yourself.

May we stand in awe of Your holiness, refraining from sin and seeking communion with You in the quiet of our hearts. Enable us to offer sacrifices of righteousness, placing our trust entirely in You.

Amidst the doubts and uncertainties that surround us, may Your light shine upon us, filling us with joy that surpasses any material gain. Lord, You alone bring true gladness to my heart, surpassing the fleeting pleasures of this world.

In Your presence, I find peace and security, knowing that You are my ultimate protector. As I lay down to rest, I entrust myself into Your care, confident that You alone make me dwell in safety.

Thank You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I pray, Amen.
