Praying Psalm 26

Heavenly Father, Lord my God,

I come before You with a heart filled with gratitude and praise. You are my rock and my salvation, my strength and my shield. I trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

Examine my heart, O Lord, and test me; try me and know my thoughts. Search me and know my anxious thoughts; see if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

I love the house where You dwell, O Lord, the place where Your glory resides. Help me to walk in integrity and to live a life that honors You in all that I do.

Do not take away my soul along with sinners, nor my life with those who are bloodthirsty. Keep me from following the ways of the wicked and from associating with evildoers.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be merciful to me. My foot stands on level ground; in the great congregation I will praise You, O Lord.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love that never fails. I surrender myself into Your hands, trusting in Your provision and Your protection.
