Praying Psalm 16

Heavenly Father,

You are my refuge and my strength, my ever-present help in times of trouble. I lift my soul to You, trusting in Your unfailing love and guidance. You alone are my portion and my inheritance, and in You I find all that I need. Keep me Lord, for I take refuge in You; I say to You, You are my Lord; apart from You, I have no good thing. You are the source of my joy and my delight, and in Your presence, there is fullness of joy.

Help me to abide in You continually, to seek Your face earnestly, and to find rest and peace in Your presence. Lord, You are my counselor and my guide, leading me on the path of righteousness and showing me the way to life everlasting. Protect me from the snares of the enemy and keep my feet from stumbling.

I rejoice in Your salvation Lord, and I am grateful for Your mercy and grace. Thank You for redeeming me and for making known to me the path of life. I commit my ways to You Lord, and I trust in Your faithfulness to lead me and guide me. May Your Holy Spirit dwell within me, empowering me to live a life that is pleasing to You.

Thank You, Lord, for Your presence in my life and for Your steadfast love that endures forever. I worship You my God, and I praise Your holy name. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
