Worship God In Spirit And Truth

John 4:23-24 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

John 8:31-32 Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

In John 17:17 Jesus high priestly prayer, He prays to the Father, affirming the truthfulness of His word and its role in sanctifying believers.

John 17:17-20 Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Matthew 7:21-27 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’ “Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell—and its fall was great.

Luke 11:28 But he said, On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.

John 12:44-50 Jesus cried out and said, Whoever believes in me, believes not in me, but in him who sent me. 45 He who sees me sees him who sent me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in the darkness. If anyone listens to my sayings and doesn’t believe, I don’t judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects me, and doesn’t receive my sayings, has one who judges him. The word that I spoke will judge him in the last day. For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak. I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Give your life to Jesus, study His word, and trust Him to work everything out for you. Amen

How do you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Say this prayer and believe it without any doubts.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.

Now ask Him; to send you the Holy Spirit to guide you through life.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’s name fill me with your Holy Spirit, to baptize me in his fire, and to clothe me in his power. According to the promise in your word, I believe by faith I have received your Holy Spirit into my life today.

Now talk to the Holy Spirit about every decision you make; Yes every decision. In time you will learn the various ways he communicates with us. We learn this by trial and error.
